Anthony Behar has been working for Major Properties since 2002. He was promoted to Executive Vice President/Partner in 2017. Anthony specializes in marketing commercial and industrial real estate throughout the Downtown and adjacent Los Angeles areas, utilizing his ever-growing client base and professional experience to locate quality tenants and buyers for his exclusive listings.

Anthony brings expertise in sales, acquisitions and tenant, landlord and buyer representation. He has sold or leased millions of square feet of space. He has been a consistent top performer, earning Major Properties’ President’s Award in 2005 and 2010, and the Salesman of the Year award in 2007, 2009, 2014 and 2015.

Anthony is one of the most sought after commercial real estate brokers in the Los Angeles area. He advises his clients on the following property types: Commercial; Creative/Flex; Industrial; Land; Mixed-Use; Office; Retail; Special Purpose; and Warehouse.

Since working at Major Properties, Anthony has gained the knowledge, trust and understanding of his clients’ needs, working with the garment industry, toy industry, food industry and various general merchandise companies. He also consults on development site dispositions, and has worked extensively with affordable housing developers. He also represents buyers (investors and owner/users) as well as for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Anthony distinguishes himself through his in-depth knowledge of the ever changing local real estate market, perseverance in selling and leasing his clients’ properties, extensive communication, and individualized marketing plans for each property.

In addition to servicing his clients, Anthony will also oversee the hiring/interviewing of new agents. Additionally, he will train and mentor new junior agents which will help better serve his existing client base.

Anthony is a Forbes Business Council member and contributor. In 2021 Anthony was named to the Top 101 Commercial Real Estate Influencers on LinkedIn by the Wilbert Group, Ken Ashley and Amplify OSM.

Anthony is a licensed California real estate agent and received a B.S. in speech communication from San Diego State University. Prior to his real estate experience, Anthony worked as a media sales executive.

Anthony is involved with a number of charitable organizations. He is a long time member and sits on the board of directors for the Guardians of the Jewish Home for the Aging. He is also a cabinet member of the Real Estate and Construction Division for the Los Angeles Jewish Federation. He resides in Encino with his wife and two children.
